Workshop Details for SSE Alumni @ CISCO

If you are not an SSE Alumni or staff, go here.

As entrepreneurs, you’ll be using platforms like YouTube, WebEx and Skype to deliver important information about your venture, about your cause, about your brand. Video is now the dominant way to connect with the audiences that matter. It’s the medium of thought leadership – and every alum from the School of Social Entrepreneurship is a thought leader.

As Marshall McLuhan famously observed, the medium is the message … and by 2019, 80% of world's internet traffic will be video, according to CISCO’s Visual Networking Index. That’s almost a million minutes of video content per second. This is your medium. Now is the time to learn to use it properly, to maximize your impact, to move your cause to the forefront.

A private sponsor has arranged for all SSE alumni and staff to participate in a private workshop led by Kunle Bristow. This specialized workshop, 'Video Presenting for Professionals and Executives', is designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge, and techniques you need as video becomes the medium of thought leadership.

Bristow's workshops train entrepreneurs and professionals to be comfortable and powerful in front of any camera. You will learn techniques that will draw people to watch and listen to your entire message, and the basics of creating a library of video content to engage your audience into the future. Notably, these crucial skills don't expire and they aren’t dependent on technology.

CISCO Canada has generously offered to host the workshops at their Canadian headquarters in Toronto. Notably, this is a continuation of CISCO Canada’s ongoing support for SSE.
